     Angus Nigel Garnet Maclean, 8th of Kilmoluaig is the son of Major Gordon Maclean.¹ He married Lady Sarah Elizabeth Jane Finch-Knightley, daughter of Charles Ian Finch-Knightley, 11th Earl of Aylesford and Margaret Rosemary Tyer, on 5 September 1974.¹
      Angus Nigel Garnet Maclean, 8th of Kilmoluaig usually went by his middle name of Nigel.¹ He was also known as 8th of Kilmoluaig.¹
