     John Horace Savile, 5th Earl of Mexborough of Lifford was born on 17 June 1843.¹ He was the son of John Charles George Savile, 4th Earl of Mexborough of Lifford and Lady Rachel Katherine Walpole.¹ He married, firstly, Venetia Stanley Errington, daughter of Sir Rowland Stanley Errington, 11th Bt., on 24 April 1867.¹ He married, secondly, Sylvia Cecilia Maria de Ser-Antoni, daughter of Nobile Carlo de Ser-Antoni, in April 1906.¹ He married, thirdly, Anne Belcher, daughter of Reverend Andrew Holmes Belcher, on 28 January 1916.² He died on 8 June 1916 at age 72, without issue.¹

Amy Virginia Beaumont, on 15 July 1905.² He died on 16 September 1945 at age 76.¹
