Hon. Barbara Mary Frankland was born on 13 May 1906.2 She was the daughter of Sir Frederick William Francis George Frankland, 10th Bt. and Mary Cecil Curzon, Baroness Zouche. She married, firstly, Brigadier Sir Otho Leslie Prior-Palmer, son of Prior Spunner Prior-Palmer, on 6 July 1926. She and Brigadier Sir Otho Leslie Prior-Palmer were divorced in 1937. She married, secondly, Edward John Sidney Christian Wellbore Ellis Agar, 5th Earl of Normanton, son of Sidney James Agar, 4th Earl of Normanton and Lady Amy Frederica Alice Byng, on 5 July 1937. She and Edward John Sidney Christian Wellbore Ellis Agar, 5th Earl of Normanton were divorced in 1943. She married, thirdly, Peter Herbert Lucas, son of Herbert Lucas, on 4 February 1944. She and Peter Herbert Lucas were divorced in 1960. She died on 12 September 2000 at age 94.2
From 6 July 1926, her married name became Prior-Palmer. From 5 July 1937, her married name became Agar. From 4 February 1944, her married name became Lucas.
