     William Nicholas Somers Laurence Hyde Villiers was born on 17 July 1916.3 He was the son of Sir George Herbert Hyde Villiers, 6th Earl of Clarendon and Hon. Adeline Verena Ishbel Cocks.2 He married Mary Cecilia Georgina Weld-Forester, daughter of Major Hon. Edric Alfred Cecil Weld-Forester and Lady Victoria Alexandrina Wynn-Carington, on 4 May 1939.3 He died on 24 February 2000 at age 83.3
