     Rear-Admiral Hon. Maurice Horatio Nelson was born on 2 January 1832.1 He was the son of Thomas Nelson, 2nd Earl Nelson of Trafalgar and of Merton and Frances Elizabeth Eyre.1 He married Emily Burrard, daughter of Admiral Sir Charles Burrard, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Lushington, on 21 April 1863.1 He died on 6 September 1914 at age 82.1
     He was given the name of Maurice Horatio Bolton at birth.1 In 1835 his name was legally changed to Maurice Horatio Nelson.1 He was awarded the Knight, Order of Medjidie.1 He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in the Royal Navy.1

Maurice Horatio Nelson, son of Thomas Nelson, 2nd Earl Nelson of Trafalgar and of Merton and Frances Elizabeth Eyre, on 21 April 1863.1 She died on 24 September 1906 at age 72.1
     Her married name became Nelson.

     Admiral Sir Charles Burrard, 2nd Bt. was born in 1793.1 He was the son of General Sir Harry Burrard, 1st Bt. and Hannah Darby.1 He married Louisa Lushington, daughter of Sir Henry Lushington, 2nd Bt. and Fanny Maria Lewis, on 8 April 1826 at Naples, ItalyG.2 He died in 1870.1
     He was educated at Burney's GosportG.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Burrard, of Lymington [U.K., 1807] in 1813.1 He was Captain of the H.M.S. Grasshopper.1 He was Captain of the frigate H.M.S. Hind.1 He was Flag Captain of the 74 gun ship of the line, H.M.S. Revenge.1 He gained the rank of Admiral of the Blue in the Royal Navy.1 He was also a well-known painter, and did a number of water-colours of the New Forest.1
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
