John Walgrave Halford Fremantle, 4th Baron Cottesloe, son of Colonel Thomas Francis Fremantle, 3rd Baron Cottesloe and Frances Tapling, on 16 February 1926.2 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Edward Walter Hall Berwick, son of Walter Mark Berwick, on 6 February 1944.1 She and Lt.-Col. John Walgrave Halford Fremantle, 4th Baron Cottesloe were divorced in 1944.2 She died on 11 December 1983 at age 77.2
      From 16 February 1926, her married name became Fremantle. From 6 February 1944, her married name became Berwick.

     Dr. Gathorne Gathorne-Hardy, 5th Earl of Cranbrook was born on 20 June 1933.1 He is the son of John David Gathorne-Hardy, 4th Earl of Cranbrook and Fidelity Seebohm.1 He married Caroline Jarvis, daughter of Colonel Ralph George Edward Jarvis and Antonia Mary Hilda Meade, on 9 May 1968.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was an assistant between 1956 and 1958 at Sarawak Museum, Sarawak, Indonesia.3 He graduated from Birmingham University, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, in 1960 with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).3 He was educated in 1960 at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, Master of Arts (M.A.).3 He was a Jajason Siswa Lokantara Fellow between 1960 and 1961 at Indonesia.3 He was a senior lecturer in zoology between 1961 and 1970 at University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.3 He was editor of Ibis between 1973 and 1980.3 He succeeded to the title of 5th Earl of Cranbrook [U.K., 1892] on 22 November 1978.1 He succeeded to the title of 5th Baron Medway of Hemsted Park, co.      He was decorated with the award of the Territorial Decoration (T.D.).1 Charles Colin Simpson usually went by his middle name of Colin.1
