Robert Balfour, 4th Lord Balfour of Burleigh was the son of John Balfour, 3rd Lord Balfour of Balfour and Isabel Balfour.1 He married Margaret Melville, daughter of George Melville, 1st Earl of Melville and Catharine Leslie.1 He died in July 1713.1
