     Joan Ankaret Talbot was born on 3 March 1901. She is the daughter of John Edward Talbot and Mabel Balfour.² She married Eric Hyde Villiers, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Francis Hyde Villiers and Virginia Katharine Smith, on 11 December 1928.¹ She died in 1986.¹

     Major William Edward Long was born on 21 February 1873 at Congresbury, Somerset, England.¹ He was the son of Colonel William Long and Anna Mary Hunter.^1,2 He married Violet Beatrix Alice Lambton Way, daughter of Colonel Wilfred FitzAlan Way and Henrietta Mary Ross, in 1901 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England.¹ He died on 16 April 1961 at age 88 at Malaga, Spain.¹
     Major William Edward Long was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.¹ He matriculated at Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1890.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 4th Hussars.¹ He fought in the Boer War in 1902, where he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 4th Battalion, Somersetshire Light Infantry.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 4th Hussars.¹
