     Maj.-Gen. Sir Frederick Spencer Wilson Robb was born in 1858 at Hanover Square, London, England.1 He was the son of Captain John B. Robb and Mary-Anne Boulton.1 He married Wilhelmine Rose Stoughton.1 He died in 1949.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He was commissioned in 1880 with the rank of officer, in the service of the 68th (Durham) Regiment of Foot.1 He fought in the Nile Expedition in 1898.1 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) on 11 August 1902.1 He was Assistant Chief of the Imperial General Staff in 1914.1 He fought in the First World War.1
