     Louis of Provence, King of Italy also went by the nick-name of Louis 'the Blind'.2 He gained the title of King Louis of Italy in 900.1 He was deposed as King of Italy in 905.1

     James Michael Ponsonby was born on 7 September 1901.1 He was the son of Sydney Alexander Ponsonby and Hon. Audrey St. Aubyn.1 He married Lesley Maude Hamilton Kershaw, daughter of James Kershaw, on 5 February 1929.1 He and Lesley Maude Hamilton Kershaw were divorced in 1937.1 He died on 21 November 1946 at age 45, without issue.1
     James Michael Ponsonby was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.).1 He was with the Frontier Control Force, North Rhine Region.1
