     Major John William Fitzherbert-Brockholes was born on 23 May 1889. He was the son of William Joseph FitzHerbert-Brockholes and Blanche Winifred Mary Clifford. He married Hon. Eileen Agnes French, daughter of Arthur French, 4th Baron de Freyne of Coolavin and Marie Georgiana Lamb, on 19 November 1917.1 He died on 21 July 1963 at age 74.2
     He was educated at The Oratory School, Edgbaston, Warwickshire, England.3 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1 He lived at Claughton Hall, Lancashire, EnglandG.1

     Hon. Eileen Agnes French was born on 23 December 1892.1 She was the daughter of Arthur French, 4th Baron de Freyne of Coolavin and Marie Georgiana Lamb. She married Major John William Fitzherbert-Brockholes, son of William Joseph FitzHerbert-Brockholes and Blanche Winifred Mary Clifford, on 19 November 1917.1 She died on 28 December 1971 at age 79.1
     Her married name became FitzHerbert-Brockholes.

Arthur French, 4th Baron de Freyne of Coolavin

     Arthur French, 4th Baron de Freyne of Coolavin was born on 9 July 1855.1 He was the son of Charles French, 3rd Baron de Freyne of Coolavin and Catherine Maree.2 He married, firstly, Lady Laura Octavia Dundas, daughter of Hon. John Charles Dundas and Margaret Matilda Talbot, on 8 February 1877.1 He married, secondly, Marie Georgiana Lamb, daughter of Richard Westbrook Lamb, on 28 September 1882.2 He died on 23 September 1913 at age 58.2
     He succeeded as the 4th Baron de Freyne of Coolavin, co. Sligo [U.K., 1851] on 28 October 1868.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 5th Battalion, Connaught Rangers.1

Lady Laura Octavia Dundas1

     Lady Laura Octavia Dundas was the daughter of Hon. John Charles Dundas and Margaret Matilda Talbot.2 She married Arthur French, 4th Baron de Freyne of Coolavin, son of Charles French, 3rd Baron de Freyne of Coolavin and Catherine Maree, on 8 February 1877.1 She died on 19 January 1881.1
     In 1873 she was granted the rank of an earl's daughter.2 From 8 February 1877, her married name became French. After her marriage, Lady Laura Octavia Dundas was styled as Baroness de Freyne of Coolavin on 8 February 1877.

     Marie Georgiana Lamb was the daughter of Richard Westbrook Lamb.1 She married Arthur French, 4th Baron de Freyne of Coolavin, son of Charles French, 3rd Baron de Freyne of Coolavin and Catherine Maree, on 28 September 1882.1 She died on 20 February 1923.1
     After her marriage, Marie Georgiana Lamb was styled as Baroness de Freyne of Coolavin on 28 September 1882. From 28 September 1882, her married name became French.

     Hon. John Charles Dundas was born on 21 August 1808.2 He was the son of Lawrence Dundas, 1st Earl of Zetland and Harriot Hale.3 He married Margaret Matilda Talbot, daughter of James Talbot, on 27 March 1843.2 He died on 14 February 1866 at age 57.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Richmond.2 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Orkney and Shetland.2 He lived at Woodhall, Wetherby, Yorkshire, EnglandG.2
