Barbara Chase was the daughter of Harold Stuart Chase and Gertrude Boyer.1,2 She married George John Charles Mercer Nairne Petty-FitzMaurice, 8th Marquess of Lansdowne, son of Major Lord Charles George Francis Mercer Nairne Petty-FitzMaurice and Lady Violet Mary Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, on 18 March 1938.1 She died on 17 February 1965.1
