     Mary Dahlgren Paul was the daughter of James William Paul.¹ She married William Waldorf Astor, 1st Viscount Astor, son of Colonel John Jacob Astor and Charlotte Augusta Gibbes, on 6 June 1878.¹ She died on 22 December 1894.¹
      Mary Dahlgren Paul also went by the nick-name of Mamie.² Her married name became Astor.

     Sir Archer Denman Croft, 8th Bt. was born on 7 December 1801.¹ He was the son of Sir Richard Croft, 6th Bt. and Margaret Denman.¹ He married Julia Barbara Garstin, daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Garstin, on 31 August 1837.¹ He died on 10 January 1865 at age 63.¹
