Sir Archer Denman Croft, 8th Bt. was born on 7 December 1801.1 He was the son of Sir Richard Croft, 6th Bt. and Margaret Denman.1 He married Julia Barbara Garstin, daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Garstin, on 31 August 1837.1 He died on 10 January 1865 at age 63.1
He succeeded to the title of 8th Baronet Croft, of Croft Castle, co. Hereford [E., 1671] on 29 October 1835.1 He held the office of Master of the Court of the Queen's Bench.1
