     Mary Dahlgren Paul was the daughter of James William Paul.1 She married William Waldorf Astor, 1st Viscount Astor, son of Colonel John Jacob Astor and Charlotte Augusta Gibbes, on 6 June 1878.1 She died on 22 December 1894.1
     Mary Dahlgren Paul also went by the nick-name of Mamie.2 Her married name became Astor.

     Sir Archer Denman Croft, 8th Bt. was born on 7 December 1801.1 He was the son of Sir Richard Croft, 6th Bt. and Margaret Denman.1 He married Julia Barbara Garstin, daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Garstin, on 31 August 1837.1 He died on 10 January 1865 at age 63.1
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Croft, of Croft Castle, co. Hereford [E., 1671] on 29 October 1835.1 He held the office of Master of the Court of the Queen's Bench.1

     Hon. Pauline Astor was born in 1880.3 She was the daughter of William Waldorf Astor, 1st Viscount Astor and Mary Dahlgren Paul.1 She married Lt.-Col. Rt. Hon. Herbert Henry Spender Clay, son of Joseph Spender Clay and Elizabeth Sydney Jane Garrett, on 29 October 1904.1 She died on 5 May 1972.1
     Her married name became Spender Clay. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Surrey in 1920.1
