     William McAdam Eccles was born on 4 August 1867.2 He is the son of William Soltau Eccles and Anna Selina Campbell McAdam.1 He married Anna Coralie Anstie, daughter of Edward Benjamin Anstie, on 12 June 1894.2 He died on 30 May 1946 at age 78.3
     MS, FRCS, consulting surgn St Bartholomew's Hosp.2 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.). He graduated with a Master of Surgery (M.S.).
