     Lady Frances Helen Mary Eliot was born on 6 March 1943. She was the daughter of Nicholas Richard Michael Eliot, 9th Earl of St. Germans and Helen Mary Villiers.1 She married Charles Maurice Petty-FitzMaurice, 9th Marquess of Lansdowne, son of George John Charles Mercer Nairne Petty-FitzMaurice, 8th Marquess of Lansdowne and Barbara Chase, on 9 October 1965.2 She and Charles Maurice Petty-FitzMaurice, 9th Marquess of Lansdowne were divorced in 1987.2 She died on 6 January 2004 at age 60 at London, England.3
     From 9 October 1965, her married name became Petty-FitzMaurice.2
