     Hon. Edward Roundell Palmer was born on 10 April 1926. He was the son of Roundell Cecil Palmer, 3rd Earl of Selborne and Hon. Grace Ridley.1 He married Joanna Constance Bacon, daughter of Sir Edmund Castell Bacon, 13th and 14th Bt. and Priscilla Dora Ponsonby, on 18 May 1957.1 He died on 1 August 1974 at age 48.1
