     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.).³ He was the Rector at Fretherne, Gloucestershire, England.³ He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Darell, of Ancaster House, Richmond Hill, Surrey [G.B., 1795] on 6 January 1853.³

     Harriet Mary Tierny was the daughter of Sir Edward Tierny, Bt.¹ She married Reverend Sir William Lionel Darell, 4th Bt., son of Sir Harry Verelst Darell, 2nd Bt. and Amelia Mary Anne Beecher, on 18 April 1843.¹ She died on 27 June 1873.¹

     Mary Ford was the daughter of Sir Francis Ford.¹ She married Reverend Sir William Lionel Darell, 4th Bt., son of Sir Harry Verelst Darell, 2nd Bt. and Amelia Mary Anne Beecher, on 29 May 1840.¹ She died on 9 March 1842, without issue.¹

     Fanny Julia (?) married, firstly, T. Hyde Clarke before 1880.¹ She married, secondly, Reverend Sir William Lionel Darell, 4th Bt., son of Sir Harry Verelst Darell, 2nd Bt. and Amelia Mary Anne Beecher, on 7 January 1880.¹ She died on 17 January 1894.¹
      From before 1880, her married name became Clarke.¹ Her married name became Darell.

     Mary Augusta Gordon was born on 5 October 1848.² She was the daughter of Reverend John Frederick Gordon and Dorothea Josepha Miller.^1,3 She married Captain William Somerset Ward, son of Reverend Hon. Henry Ward and Anne Mahon, on 7 January 1879.¹ She died on 2 October 1942 at age 93.¹
