     Caroline Anne Caithness was the daughter of George Caithness.2 She married John Henry Wellington Graham Loftus, 4th Marquess of Ely, son of John Henry Loftus, 3rd Marquess of Ely and Jane Hope-Vere, on 9 December 1875.1 She died on 27 May 1917.1
     After her marriage, Caroline Anne Caithness was styled as Marchioness of Ely on 9 December 1875. From 9 December 1875, her married name became Loftus.

     Lord George William Loftus was born on 11 May 1815.1 He was the son of John Loftus, 2nd Marquess of Ely and Anna Maria Dashwood.2 He married Martha Fuller, daughter of J. Fuller, on 21 June 1846.1 He died on 19 January 1877 at age 61, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the Grenadier Guards.1

     Rev. Lord Adam Loftus was born on 13 May 1816.1 He was the son of John Loftus, 2nd Marquess of Ely and Anna Maria Dashwood.2 He married Margaret Fannin, daughter of Robert Fannin and Mary Anne Fossitt, on 11 June 1846.1 He died on 25 December 1866 at age 50.1
     He was the Rector at Magheraculmoney, County Fermanagh, IrelandG.1

     John Henry Loftus, 5th Marquess of Ely was born on 6 March 1851.1 He was the son of Rev. Lord Adam Loftus and Margaret Fannin.2 He married Margaret Emma Clark, daughter of F. A. Clark, on 21 November 1895.1 He died on 18 December 1925 at age 74, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Baron Loftus of Long Loftus, co. York [U.K., 1801] on 3 April 1889.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Tottenham [I., 1780] on 3 April 1889.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Loftus of Loftus Hall, co.
