Thomas Butler-Stoney was born on 22 March 1813.1 He was the son of Richard Falkiner Stoney and Jane Butler.1 He married Sarah Eliza Fannin, daughter of Robert Fannin, on 15 November 1837.1 He died on 10 March 1893 at age 79.1
