     Elizabeth Palliser was the daughter of John Palliser.2 She married Charles Vereker, 2nd Viscount Gort, son of Thomas Vereker and Juliana Smyth, on 5 March 1810.1 She died on 2 April 1858.1
     From 5 March 1810, her married name became Vereker.1 As a result of her marriage, Elizabeth Palliser was styled as Viscountess Gort on 23 May 1817.

     Lt.-Col. Hon. Charles Smyth Vereker was born on 21 April 1818.1 He was the son of Charles Vereker, 2nd Viscount Gort and Elizabeth Palliser.2 He married Kate Fannin, daughter of Robert Fannin, on 10 May 1842.1 He died on 12 May 1885 at age 67, without issue.1
     Lt.-Col. Hon. Charles Smyth Vereker was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 4th Brigade, South Irish Division, Royal Artillery.1
