     Edmund Owen Ethelston Peel was born on 13 July 1893. He was the son of Major Hugh Edmund Ethelston Peel and Gwladys Freda Rowley-Conwy.1 He married Violet Margaret Florence Jardine, daughter of Sir Robert William Buchanan Jardine of Castlemilk, 2nd Bt. and Ethel Mary Piercy, on 18 November 1919.1 He and Violet Margaret Florence Jardine were divorced in 1927.1 He died on 21 March 1935 at age 41.1
     Edmund Owen Ethelston Peel gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 5th Dragoon Guards.1 He was decorated with the Military Cross (M.C.).1

     Violet Margaret Florence Jardine was the daughter of Sir Robert William Buchanan Jardine of Castlemilk, 2nd Bt. and Ethel Mary Piercy.1 She married, firstly, Edmund Owen Ethelston Peel, son of Major Hugh Edmund Ethelston Peel and Gwladys Freda Rowley-Conwy, on 18 November 1919.1 She and Edmund Owen Ethelston Peel were divorced in 1927.1 She married, secondly, John Drummond, 15th Lord Strange on 8 February 1928.1 She died on 16 October 1975.2
     From 18 November 1919, her married name became Peel. From 8 February 1928, her married name became Drummond.2
