     Captain Hon. Reginald Cathcart gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 3rd Battalion, King's Royal Rifle Corps.1 He fought in the Boer War.1

     Captain Edward Temple Rose was born on 2 November 1855.2 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir John Rose, 1st Bt. and Charlotte Temple.1 He married Lady Cecilia Cathcart, daughter of Alan Frederick Cathcart, 3rd Earl Cathcart and Elizabeth Mary Crompton, on 26 July 1883.3 He died in 1920.3
     Captain Edward Temple Rose gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 10th Hussars.3
