Joseph John Dunnington-Jefferson was born on 19 November 1845.1 He was the son of Reverend Joseph Dunnington-Jefferson and Anna Mervinia Vavasour.2,3 He married Emma Sarah Butler-Stoney, daughter of Thomas Butler-Stoney and Sarah Eliza Fannin, on 14 September 1870.1 He died on 21 March 1928 at age 82, without issue.1

Reverend Joseph Dunnington-Jefferson was born on 17 July 1807.1 He is the son of Joseph Dunnington and Mary Toutill.2 He married Anna Mervinia Vavasour, daughter of General Sir Henry Maghull Mervin Vavasour, 2nd Bt., on 23 May 1837.1 He died on 31 July 1880 at age 73.1
