     He emigrated to Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A., arriving on 1821.2 He founded Persse and Brooks Ltd, paper manufacturers (with his attorney Horace Brooks.)2 In 1857 the Company refloated as Persse and Brooks Paper Works (with capital of $450,000.)2

John Edwards, on 10 February 1829 at Johnstown, Fulton County, New York, U.S.A.G.1 He died on 13 December 1880 at age 74 at Johnstown, Fulton County, New York, U.S.A.G.1
     He emigrated to Johnstown, Fulton County, New York, U.S.A., arriving on 1821 by his father to study farming.2 He was in the paper business.2 He held the office of Member of the Connecticut State Legislature in 1861.2
