     Janet Gordon was born in 1530. She was the daughter of Sir James Gordon of Lochinvar.1 She married Patrick Agnew of Lochnaw, son of Andrew Agnew of Lochnaw and Agnes Stewart, in 1550.1 She died on 13 February 1577.
     From 1550, her married name became Agnew.1
