     Captain Samuel Montagu Agnew was born on 22 February 1867.1 He was the son of Captain John de Courcy Agnew and Patricia Elizabeth Dowbiggin.1 He died on 22 April 1929 at age 62, unmarried.1
     He fought in the Egyptian Campaign in 1882.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.1

     Georgina Anne Agnew was the daughter of Captain John de Courcy Agnew and Patricia Elizabeth Dowbiggin.1 She married Colonel James Ferguson on 25 March 1885.1 She died on 2 March 1949.1
     From 25 March 1885, her married name became Ferguson.1

     Patricia Ramsay was born on 5 August 1825 at Fettercairn, Kincardineshire, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of Sir Alexander Ramsay of Balmain, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Elizabeth Maule.1,3 She married Captain John de Courcy Agnew, son of Sir Andrew Agnew of Lochnaw, 7th Bt. and Madeline Carnegie, on 14 May 1872.1 She died on 15 July 1910 at age 84, without issue.1
     From 14 May 1872, her married name became Agnew.1

     Sir Alexander Ramsay of Balmain, 2nd Bt. was born on 14 February 1785 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 He was the son of Sir Alexander Ramsay of Balmain, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Bannerman.2 He married, firstly, Jane Russell, daughter of Francis Russell, on 1 August 1811.2 He married, secondly, Hon. Elizabeth Maule, daughter of William Maule-Ramsay, 1st Lord Panmure and Patricia Heron Gordon, on 22 December 1822.2 He died on 26 April 1852 at age 67.2
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Ramsay, of Balmain [U.K., 1806] on 17 May 1810.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kincardineshire.2
