     Hester Johnston was the daughter of Wynne Johnston.1 She married Robert Baird, son of William Baird and Alicia Johnston, in January 1779.1 She died on 6 July 1789, without issue.1
     From January 1779, her married name became Baird.1

     John Baird was the son of Robert Baird and Hersey Christina Maria Gavin.1 He died in September 1806 at Algiers, Algeria, killed on active service, from a head wound.1
     John Baird gained the rank of Midshipman in the service of the Royal Navy.1

     Captain Wynn Baird was born in 1799.1 He was the son of Robert Baird and Hersey Christina Maria Gavin.1 He married Madelina Susan Cerjat, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Andrew Cerjat, on 12 November 1824.1 He died in 1835.1
     Captain Wynn Baird gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1
