     Hester Johnston was the daughter of Wynne Johnston.1 She married Robert Baird, 6th of Newbyth, son of William Baird, 5th of Newbyth and Alicia Johnston, in January 1779.1 She died on 6 July 1789, without issue.1
     From January 1779, her married name became Baird.1

     Hersey Christina Maria Gavin was baptised on 17 February 1772 at Langton, Berwickshire, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of David Gavin and Lady Elizabeth Maitland.1 She married Robert Baird, 6th of Newbyth, son of William Baird, 5th of Newbyth and Alicia Johnston, on 16 August 1791.1 She died in July 1829 at age 57.1
     From 16 August 1791, her married name became Baird.1

     John Baird was the son of Robert Baird, 6th of Newbyth and Hersey Christina Maria Gavin.1 He died in September 1806 at Algiers, AlgeriaG, killed on active service, from a head wound.1
     He gained the rank of Midshipman in the Royal Navy.1

     Captain Wynn Baird was born in 1799.1 He was the son of Robert Baird, 6th of Newbyth and Hersey Christina Maria Gavin.1 He married Madelina Susan Cerjat, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Andrew Cerjat, on 12 November 1824.1 He died in 1835.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1

     Madelina Susan Cerjat was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Andrew Cerjat.1 She married Captain Wynn Baird, son of Robert Baird, 6th of Newbyth and Hersey Christina Maria Gavin, on 12 November 1824.1 She died on 15 July 1827.1
     From 12 November 1824, her married name became Baird.1
