Donald 'Gruamach' Macdonald, 4th of Sleat was the son of Donald 'Gallach' Macdonald, 3rd of Sleat and unknown daughter of Islay and The Glens.1 He married, firstly, Catherine Macdonald of Clanranald.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Macleod of Lewis.1 He died in 1539 at Eilean Donan Castle, shot from the battlements.1
