     Isabella Macdougall is the daughter of Ewen MacDougall, 5th of Lorn and 7th of Dunollie and Joan Isaac.2,3 She married Sir John Stewart of Innermeath, 3rd of Lorn, son of Sir Robert Stewart of Innermeath, in 1386.1 She died on 21 December 1439.2
     She lived at Argyllshire, ScotlandG. She was also known as Isabel de Ergadia.2 From 1386, her married name became Stewart.

     Elizabeth Baring was born on 21 July 1744 at Larkbeare, Devon, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of John Baring and Elizabeth Vowler.1 She married John Dunning, 1st Baron Ashburton, son of John Dunning and Agnes Judsham, on 31 March 1780 at St. Leonard's, Exeter, Devon, EnglandG.1 She died on 23 February 1809 at age 64 at Cardigan Place, London, EnglandG.1
     From 31 March 1780, her married name became Dunning.1 After her marriage, Elizabeth Baring was styled as Baroness Ashburton on 8 April 1782.

     John Baring was born on 15 November 1697 at Bremen, GermanyG.2 He was the son of Dr. Franz Baring and Rebecca Vogds.3,2 He married Elizabeth Vowler, daughter of John Vowler and Elizabeth Townsend, on 15 February 1729.2 He died in November 1748 at Larkbeare, Devon, EnglandG.4,5 He was buried on 3 November 1748.6
     He was given the name of Johannes Baring at birth.2 He emigrated to Exeter, Devon, EnglandG, arriving on 1717.3 He was naturalized as a English citizen in 1723.6 He was a merchant, in the Virginia trade.1,7 He lived at Larkbeare, Devon, EnglandG.1

     Elizabeth Vowler was born in 1702.2 She was the daughter of John Vowler and Elizabeth Townsend.1,2 She married John Baring, son of Dr. Franz Baring and Rebecca Vogds, on 15 February 1729.2 She died on 16 April 1766 at St. Leonards, Devon, EnglandG.2 She was buried on 16 April 1766.3
     She was also known as Anne Elizabeth Bowler.2 From 15 February 1729, her married name became Baring.
     She was "a woman of capacity and excellent understanding."2

Richard Barré Dunning, 2nd Baron Ashburton1

     Richard Barré Dunning, 2nd Baron Ashburton was born on 20 September 1782.1 He was the son of John Dunning, 1st Baron Ashburton and Elizabeth Baring.1 He married Anne Selby Cunninghame, daughter of William Cuninghame, 1st of Lainshaw and Margaret Nicolson Cranstoun, on 17 September 1805 at LainshawG.1 He died on 15 February 1823 at age 40 at Friar's Hall, Roxburghshire, ScotlandG, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Ashburton, of Ashburton, Devon [G.B., 1782] on 18 August 1783.1 He wrote the book Genealogical Memoirs of the Royal House of France, published before 1823, published in 1825 (ASIN: B00086WFHM.)1
     On his death, the Barony of Ashburton became extinct.1
