     Florence Caroline Shuttleworth was born on 11 December 1856 at New Plymouth, New Zealand. She was the daughter of Henry Shuttleworth and Eliza Newell.1 She married Sir William Blunden, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Blunden, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Knox, on 26 April 1879.1 She died on 10 January 1942 at age 85.1

     Sir John Blunden, 5th Bt. was born on 26 February 1880.1 He was the son of Sir William Blunden, 4th Bt. and Florence Caroline Shuttleworth.1 He married Phyllis Dorothy Creaghe, daughter of Philip Crampton Creaghe, on 4 June 1918.1 He died on 28 October 1923 at age 43.1
     Sir John Blunden, 5th Bt. succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Blunden, of Castle Blunden, co. Kilkenny [I., 1766] on 25 October 1923.1

     Eric Overington Blunden was born on 15 October 1892.1 He was the son of Sir William Blunden, 4th Bt. and Florence Caroline Shuttleworth.1 He married Bridget Constable Curtis, daughter of Henry George Constable Curtis, on 30 April 1918.1 He died on 28 April 1969 at age 76.1
     Eric Overington Blunden graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Engineers.1 He was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.).1 He was divisional road engineer for the North Midland Division of the Ministry of Transport.1
