Rev. Sir George Boughey, 5th Bt. was born on 2 May 1837.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Fletcher Fenton Boughey, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Paulina Giffard.1 He married Theodosia Mary Royds, daughter of Reverend Charles Smith Royds, on 25 April 1875.1 He died on 4 August 1910 at age 73.2
Rev. Sir George Boughey, 5th Bt. graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was the Rector between 1863 and 1908 at Forton, Newport, Shropshire, England.1 He succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Fletcher, of Newcastle-under-Lyne and Betley Court, co. Stafford [G.B., 1798] on 30 August 1906.1
