     Barbara Slaughter married Sir Pyers Mostyn, 6th Bt., son of Sir Edward Mostyn, 5th Bt. and Barbara Browne, in 1780. She died on 2 October 1815.

     Captain Edward Henry Mostyn was born on 14 January 1813. He was the son of Sir Edward Mostyn, 7th Bt. and Frances Blundell.¹ He married Anastasia Elizabeth Boughey, daughter of Sir John Fenton Boughey, 2nd Bt. and Henrietta Dorothy Chetwode, on 16 May 1848.¹ He died on 23 February 1895 at age 82.

     Anastasia Elizabeth Boughey was the daughter of Sir John Fenton Boughey, 2nd Bt. and Henrietta Dorothy Chetwode.¹ She married, firstly, Edward Joseph Smythe, son of Sir Edward Joseph Smythe, 6th Bt., on 28 April 1840.¹ She married, secondly, Captain Edward Henry Mostyn, son of Sir Edward Mostyn, 7th Bt. and Frances Blundell, on 16 May 1848.¹ She died on 23 November 1893.¹
      From 28 April 1840, her married name became Smythe.¹ From 16 May 1848, her married name became Mostyn.¹

     Sir John Fenton Boughey, 2nd Bt. was born on 1 May 1784.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Fletcher, 1st Bt. and Anne Fenton.^2,1 He married Henrietta Dorothy Chetwode, daughter of Sir John Chetwode, 4th Bt. and Lady Henrietta Grey, on 9 February 1808.¹ He died on 27 June 1823 at age 39.¹
     He was given the name of John Fenton Fletcher at birth.¹ He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 3 May 1803.¹ On 16 May 1805 his name was legally changed to John Fenton Boughey by Royal License.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newcastle-under-Lyme in 1812.¹ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Fletcher, of Newcastle-under-Lyne and Betley Court, co. Stafford [G.B., 1798] on 14 July 1812.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the North Staffordshire Militia.¹ He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Staffordshire between 1820 and 1823.¹

     Edward Joseph Smythe was the son of Sir Edward Joseph Smythe, 6th Bt. He married Anastasia Elizabeth Boughey, daughter of Sir John Fenton Boughey, 2nd Bt. and Henrietta Dorothy Chetwode, on 28 April 1840.¹ He died on 28 August 1841.¹

     Sir Edward Smythe, 4th Bt. married Mary Clifford, daughter of Hugh Clifford, 3rd Baron Clifford of Chudleigh and Elizabeth Blount, on 14 April 1766.¹ He died on 2 November 1784.²
     He gained the title of 4th Baronet Smythe, of Eshe and Acton Burnell.¹

     Lt.-Col. Edward Henry Joseph Mostyn was born on 27 February 1857. He was the son of Captain Edward Henry Mostyn and Anastasia Elizabeth Boughey. He married Mary Cecily Talbot, daughter of John Reginald Francis George Talbot and Sarah Eliza Jones, on 21 July 1886. He died on 1 August 1916 at age 59, while on active service.

     Mary Cecily Talbot was born, in 1865.¹ She was the daughter of John Reginald Francis George Talbot and Sarah Eliza Jones. She married Lt.-Col. Edward Henry Joseph Mostyn, son of Captain Edward Henry Mostyn and Anastasia Elizabeth Boughey, on 21 July 1886. She died on 22 November 1916.
      Mary Cecily Talbot usually went by her middle name of Cecily.¹ Her married name became Mostyn.

     John Reginald Francis George Talbot was born on 25 March 1826.¹ He was the son of Admiral Sir John Talbot and Hon. Juliana Mary Arundel. He married Sarah Eliza Jones, daughter of Reverend David Jones, on 24 June 1858.¹ He died on 17 January 1906 at age 79.
     He lived Rhode Hill and Tulloughan.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).² He was educated at Stonyhurst College.¹ He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) Devon and Dorset.¹ John Reginald Francis George Talbot usually went by his middle name of Reginald.¹ He lived at Rhode Hill, Lyme Regis, Dorset, England.²

     Sarah Eliza Jones was the daughter of Reverend David Jones. She married John Reginald Francis George Talbot, son of Admiral Sir John Talbot and Hon. Juliana Mary Arundel, on 24 June 1858.¹ She died on 23 May 1878.¹
