     Lady Philippa Sydney was the daughter of Robert Sydney, 1st Earl of Leicester and Barbara Gamage.¹ She married Sir John Hobart, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Henry Hobart, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Bell.¹ She died on 24 September 1620 at London, England.¹ She was buried on 5 October 1620 at Blickling, Norfolk, England.¹
     Her married name became Hobart.

     Robert Sydney, 1st Earl of Leicester was born on 19 November 1563.² He was the son of Sir Henry Sydney and Lady Mary Dudley.² He married, firstly, Barbara Gamage, daughter of John Gamage, on 23 September 1584.³ He married, secondly, Sarah Blount, daughter of William Blount, on 25 April 1625.³ He died on 13 July 1626 at age 62.³
     Robert Sydney, 1st Earl of Leicester was educated at Christ Church College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Glamorgan between 1584 and 1586.³ He was invested as a Knight in 1586.³ He held the office of Governor of Flushing, Low Countries between 1588 and 1616.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Glamorgan in 1593.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kent from 1597 to 1598.³ He was created 1st Baron Sydney of Penshurst, co. Kent [England] on 13 May 1603.² He was created 1st Viscount L'Isle [England] on 4 May 1605.² He was invested as a Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) in 1616.² He was created 1st Earl of Leicester [England] on 2 August 1618.²

     Barbara Gamage was the daughter of John Gamage.¹ She married Robert Sydney, 1st Earl of Leicester, son of Sir Henry Sydney and Lady Mary Dudley, on 23 September 1584.³ She died in May 1621.³
     From 23 September 1584, her married name became Sydney.

     Lady Frances Egerton was the daughter of John Egerton, 1st Earl of Bridgwater and Lady Frances Stanley.¹ She married Sir John Hobart, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Henry Hobart, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Bell, in February 1621.¹ She died on 27 November 1664 at Chapplefield, Norwich, Norfolk, England.¹ She was buried at Blickling, Norfolk, England.¹
     From February 1621, her married name became Hobart.¹

     Sir Miles Hobart was born on 12 April 1595.² He was the son of Sir Henry Hobart, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Bell.¹ He married Frances Peyton, daughter of Sir John Peyton, 1st Bt. and Alice Osborne.¹ He died circa December 1639.¹ He was buried on 6 December 1639.²
     Sir Miles Hobart was invested as a Knight on 1 February 1625/26.² He lived at Plumstead, Norfolk, England.²

     Frances Peyton is the daughter of Sir John Peyton, 1st Bt. and Alice Osborne.¹ She married Sir Miles Hobart, son of Sir Henry Hobart, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Bell.¹
     Her married name became Hobart.

     Elizabeth Wolstenholme was born in 1720 at Forty Hall, Enfield, Middlesex, England.¹ She was the daughter of Sir William Wolstenholme and Elizabeth Wheeler.¹ She married Eliab Breton in 1739.¹
     From 1739, her married name became Breton.¹

     Philippa Hobart was baptised on 12 October 1635 at Blickling, Norfolk, England.¹ She was the daughter of Sir John Hobart, 2nd Bt. and Lady Frances Egerton.¹ She married Sir John Hobart, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Miles Hobart and Frances Peyton.² She died circa January 1654/55.¹ She was buried on 19 January 1654/55.² She died intestate and her estate was administered on 25 January 1654/55 at St. Paul's Church, Covent Gardens, London, England.¹

     Mary Hampden was baptised on 1 May 1630 at Great Hampden, Buckinghamshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of John Hampden and Elizabeth Simeon.¹ She married, firstly, Colonel Robert Hammond before 1654.¹ She married, secondly, Sir John Hobart, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Miles Hobart and Frances Peyton, in June 1656 at St. Gile's-in-the-Fields Church, London, England.¹ She died before 2 May 1689.² Her will (dated 7 January 1686) was probated on 2 May 1689.¹
     From before 1654, her married name became Hammond.¹ From June 1656, her married name became Hobart.¹
