     John Evelyn Denison, 1st Viscount Ossington was born on 27 January 1800. He was the son of John Denison.² He married Lady Charlotte Scott-Bentinck, daughter of William Henry Cavendish-Scott-Bentinck, 4th Duke of Portland and Henrietta Scott, on 14 July 1827.³ He died on 7 March 1873 at age 73.
     He gained the title of 1st Viscount Ossington. He held the office of Speaker of the House of Commons in 1857.²

     Lady Lucy Joan Scott-Bentinck was the daughter of William Henry Cavendish-Scott-Bentinck, 4th Duke of Portland and Henrietta Scott.¹ She married Charles Augustus Ellis, 6th Baron Howard de Walden, son of Charles Rose Ellis, 1st Baron Seaford of Seaford and Elizabeth Catherine Caroline Hervey, on 8 November 1828.² She died on 29 July 1899.¹
      From 8 November 1828, her married name became Ellis.

     John Hyde Arbuthnott was born on 7 March 1932.¹ He was the son of Commander James Gordon Arbuthnott and Margaret Georgina Hyde.¹ He married Patience Sarah Wainman, daughter of Charles Wainman, on 29 December 1955.¹ He died in 1981.¹
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy.¹
