     Sir Neil Edward Johnson-Ferguson, 3rd Bt. was born on 2 May 1905.1 He was the son of Colonel Sir Edward Alexander James Johnson-Ferguson, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Elsie Dorothea McLaren.2 He married Sheila Marian Jervis, daughter of Colonel Herbert Swynfen Jervis, on 24 January 1931.1 He died in 1992.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1926 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He was awarded the U.S. Legion of Merit.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Johnson-Ferguson, of Springkell, co. Dumfries, Kenyon, Newchurch-in-Culcheth, co. Palatine, Lancashire and Wiston, co. Lanark [U.K., 1906] on 27 December 1953.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dumfriesshire in 1954.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Signals (TA.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Dumfries-shire between 1957 and 1965.1 He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Dumfries-shire in 1965.1

     Major Brian Charles Johnson-Ferguson was born on 1 December 1908.1 He was the son of Colonel Sir Edward Alexander James Johnson-Ferguson, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Elsie Dorothea McLaren.2 He married Daphne Louie Stirling, daughter of Brigadier Walter Andrew Stirling and Louie Rosa Margueritha Faber, on 26 April 1947.2 He died in August 1988 at age 79.1,3
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.2 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dumfriesshire in 1938.1 He fought in the Second World War.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Lanarkshire Yeomanry (Territorial Army.)1
