Lady Elizabeth Gore is the daughter of Arthur Gore, 1st Earl of Arran of the Arran Islands and Jane Saunders.1 She married Sir John Evans-Freke, 1st Bt., son of Hon. John Evans and Grace Freke, on 15 July 1764.1

Philip Sherard, 5th Earl of Harborough was born on 10 October 1767.1 He was the son of Robert Sherard, 4th Earl of Harborough and Jane Reeve.2 He married Eleanor Monckton, daughter of Colonel Hon. John Monckton and Anne Adams, on 4 July 1791.2 He died on 10 December 1807 at age 40.1
He succeeded to the title of 7th Baron Sherard, of Leitrim [I., 1627] on 21 April 1799.2 He succeeded to the title of 5th Earl of Harborough [G.B., 1719] on 21 April 1799.2 He succeeded to the title of 5th Baron Harborough, of Harborough, co. Leicester [G.B., 1714] on 21 April 1799.2
