Frances Twysden was the daughter of Sir William Twysden, 6th Bt. and Mary Jervis.1,2 She married, firstly, General Archibald Montgomerie, 11th Earl of Eglinton, son of Alexander Montgomerie, 9th Earl of Eglinton and Susanna Kennedy, on 9 August 1783.3 She married Francis Moore, son of John Moore, on 29 November 1794.4 She died on 22 January 1778, without issue.3

Sir William Twysden, 6th Bt. was born circa 1707.2 He was the son of Sir William Twysden, 5th Bt. and Jane Twisden.2 He married Mary Jervis, daughter of George Jervis, before 1760.2 He died on 8 July 1767.2 His will was probated in January 1768.2 He was buried on 14 July 1767 at East Peckham, Kent, England.2
Sir William Twysden, 6th Bt. succeeded to the title of 6th Baronet Twysden, of East Peckham, co. Kent [E., 1611] on 20 August 1751.2 He lived at Roydon Hall, East Peckham, Kent, England.2
