     Alexander Elphinstone, 5th Baron Elphinstone was the son of Alexander Elphinstone, 4th Lord Elphinstone and Jean Livingstone. He married Elizabeth Drummond, daughter of Patrick Drummond, 3rd Lord Drummond and Lady Elizabeth Lindsay, on 28 April 1607.1 He died in 1649.
     Alexander Elphinstone, 5th Baron Elphinstone gained the title of 5th Baron Elphinstone.

She married Alexander Elphinstone, 5th Baron Elphinstone, son of Alexander Elphinstone, 4th Lord Elphinstone and Jean Livingstone, on 28 April 1607.1 She died on 1 December 1637.1
     From 28 April 1607, her married name became Elphinstone.

     Lieutenant Hon. Frederic Sydney Trench was born on 9 December 1894 at Woodlawn, Kilconnell, County Galway, Ireland.1 He was the son of Frederic Oliver Trench, 3rd Baron Ashtown and Violet Grace Cosby.1 He was baptised on 20 January 1895 at Woodlawn, Kilconnell, County Galway, Ireland.1 He died on 16 November 1916 at age 21, from wounds received in action the previous day.2
     Lieutenant Hon. Frederic Sydney Trench was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the King's Royal Rifle Corps.2 He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1916, where he was wounded three times.3
