     Jane Herbert was the daughter of Hon. James Herbert and Jane Spiller.1 She married Sir Walter Clarges, 1st Bt., son of Sir Thomas Clarges and Mary Procter, before 1682.1 She died between July 1688 and July 1691.1
     From before 1682, her married name became Clarges.1

     Elizabeth Gold was the daughter of Sir Thomas Gold.1 She married, firstly, Sir Robert Wymondsell in October 1684.1 She married, secondly, Sir Walter Clarges, 1st Bt., son of Sir Thomas Clarges and Mary Procter, before 1691.1 She died on 20 April 1728.1 Her will was probated in 1736.1
     From October 1684, her married name became Wymondsell.1 From before 1691, her married name became Clarges.1

     Sir Thomas Clarges, 2nd Bt. was born on 25 July 1688.1 He was the son of Sir Walter Clarges, 1st Bt. and Jane Herbert.1 He was baptised on 31 July 1688 at St. James' Church, Westminster, London, England.1 He married Hon. Barbara Berkeley, daughter of John Berkeley, 4th Viscount Fitzhardinge of Berehaven and Barbara Villiers, before 1721.1 He died on 19 February 1759 at age 70.1
     Sir Thomas Clarges, 2nd Bt. succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Clarges, of St. Martin's in the Fields, co. Middlesex [E., 1674] in March 1705/6.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lostwithiel between 1713 and 1715.1
