     John Elphinstone of Glack was born on 16 December 1834.1 He was the son of Alexander Elphinstone of Glack and Charlotte Hunter.1 He married Emma Eliza Betham, daughter of G. R. Betham, on 20 March 1875.1 He died on 30 June 1893 at age 58.1
     John Elphinstone of Glack was in the Bombay Civil Service.2 He succeeded to the title of 9th Baronet Elphinstone, of Logie Elphinstone, co. Aberdeen and Nova Scotia [N.S., 1701] on 28 November 1888, de jure.2

     James Butler, 10th Baron Dunboyne was the son of James Butler, 9th Baron Dunboyne and Catherine Reagh.1 He married Joan Butler, daughter of Piers Butler, 8th Earl of Ormonde and Lady Margaret FitzGerald, before 6 May 1519.2 He died on 15 January 1538.3 He was also reported to have died on 28 January 1533/34.2
     James Butler, 10th Baron Dunboyne succeeded to the title of 10th Baron Dunboyne [I., 1324] in 1508.1 He lived at Dunboyne, County Meath, Ireland.4
