Sir Alexander Logie Elphinstone, 10th Bt. was born on 8 March 1880.1 He was the son of John Elphinstone of Glack and Emma Eliza Betham.2 He married, firstly, Agnes Gertrude Blanche Durell King, daughter of Captain T. E. Charles King, on 18 July 1911.1 He married, secondly, Muriel Eileen MacComish, daughter of John MacComish, on 18 October 1962.1
Sir Alexander Logie Elphinstone, 10th Bt. was commissioned in 1899, in the service of the British Army.1 He fought in the Boer War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1906.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1915.1 He gained the rank of Major in 1915.1 He succeeded to the title of 10th Baronet Elphinstone, of Logie Elphinstone, co. Aberdeen and Nova Scotia [N.S., 1701] on 30 November 1927.1

Thomas George Elphinstone was born on 7 August 1882.1 He was the son of John Elphinstone of Glack and Emma Eliza Betham.2 He married Gladys Mary Congdon, daughter of Colonel Ernest Charles Lambert Congdon, on 18 June 1913.1 He died on 25 December 1967 at age 85.1
Thomas George Elphinstone was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, England.1 He graduated from Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1904 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1913 entitled to practice as a barrister.1 He was Public Prosecutor in the Province of Sind between 1918 and 1929 at India.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.1
