     He was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, England.¹

     Llewellyn Eddison Buckley was in the Indian Civil Service.¹ He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.).¹

     Laura Charlotte Gertrude Elphinstone was the daughter of John Elphinstone of Glack and Emma Eliza Betham.² She married Colonel Rowley Philip Arthur Helps, son of T. H. P. Helps, on 14 July 1917.¹ She died on 8 April 1965.¹
      From 14 July 1917, her married name became Helps.

     Mary Anne Inglefield is the daughter of Captain John Nicholson Inglefield and Ann Smith.¹ She married Admiral Sir Benjamin Carew, son of Captain Benjamin Hallowell and Mary Roylston, in 1800.¹

     Jane Elphinstone was born in 1806 at Bombay, India.¹ She was the daughter of John Elphinstone of Glack and Maria Prudence Robertson.¹ She married Colonel Bruce Seton, son of Sir Alexander Seton of Abercorn, 5th Bt. and Lydia Blunt, in 1825.¹ She died before 1838.¹
