Colin Elphinstone was born on 29 July 1888.1 He was the son of John Elphinstone of Glack and Emma Eliza Betham.2 He married Marjorie Buckley, daughter of Llewellyn Eddison Buckley, on 8 June 1922.1 He died on 6 August 1968 at age 80, without issue.1
