W. Brierley, on 22 October 1931.1 She died on 5 May 1969 at age 70.1

     Sir William Michael Curtis, 4th Bt. was born on 11 November 1859.4 He was the son of William Edmund Curtis and Emily Ariana Master.2,3 He married, firstly, Mabel Gurney, daughter of Sir Somerville Arthur Gurney, on 14 April 1887.4 He married, secondly, Georgina Mary Howard, daughter of Colonel John Stanley Howard, on 16 October 1895.4 He died on 19 December 1916 at age 57.4
     Sir William Michael Curtis, 4th Bt. succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Curtis, of Cullands Grove, Middlesex [U.K., 1802] on 7 November 1870.4 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 4th Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment.4 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Shropshire.4 He was Adjutant and Quartermaster of the Royal Defence Corps.4
