     Gladys Mary Congdon was the daughter of Colonel Ernest Charles Lambert Congdon.² She married Thomas George Elphinstone, son of John Elphinstone of Glack and Emma Eliza Betham, on 18 June 1913.¹ She died in 1973.¹

Aberdeen and Nova Scotia [N.S., 1701] on 16 December 1970.¹ He was a consultant with Gandy & Son, Land Agents and Chartered Surveyors between 1983 and 1988 at Northwich, Cheshire, England.¹ He lived in 2003 at Pilgrims, Churchfields, Sandiway, Cheshire CW8 2JS.³

     Marjorie Mary Elphinstone was born on 2 June 1915.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas George Elphinstone and Gladys Mary Congdon.² She married Maj.-Gen. Reginald Carteret de Mussenden Leathes, son of Carteret de Mussenden Leathes, on 1 September 1939.¹ She died on 16 November 2000 at age 85.
