     Hon. Walter Barry Lindley was born on 31 December 1861.1 He was the son of Nathaniel Lindley, Baron Lindley and Sarah Katherine Teale.1 He married Hilda Mary Fox, daughter of Captain C. M. Fox, on 26 February 1908.1
     Hon. Walter Barry Lindley graduated from University College London, London, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn entitled to practice as a Barrister-at-Law.1 He was Deputy Chairman of Quarter Sessions, Somerset.1 He held the office of Judge of Devon and Somerset County Court.1
