     Lt.-Col. Robert Anderson Ramsay was born on 5 February 1820.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Hon. John Ramsay and Mary Delise.¹ He died on 5 November 1897 at age 77, unmarried.¹

     Anne Finlay Anderson Ramsay was born on 9 February 1815.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Hon. John Ramsay and Mary Delise.¹ She married Colonel David Ewart on 15 June 1848.¹ She died on 13 May 1891 at age 76.¹
      From 15 June 1848, her married name became Ewart.¹

Garrison, on 28 May 1885.¹ He died on 7 April 1936 at age 77, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Artillery.¹ He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the Forfar and Kincardine Artillery.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Forfar.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Forfar between 1894 and 1895.¹

     Dorothy Cynthia Surtees was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir Herbert Conyers Surtees.¹ She married, firstly, Christopher Cecil Tower before 1917.¹ She married, secondly, Hon. Sir Patrick William Maule Ramsay, son of John William Ramsay, 13th Earl of Dalhousie and Lady Ida Louisa Bennet, on 15 October 1917.¹ She died on 5 October 1957.¹
