     John William Ramsay, 13th Earl of Dalhousie was born on 29 January 1847 at Aberdour House, Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.² He was the son of Admiral George Ramsay, 12th Earl of Dalhousie and Sarah Frances Robertson.¹ He married Lady Ida Louisa Bennet, daughter of Charles Augustus Bennet, 6th Earl of Tankerville and Lady Olivia Montagu, on 6 December 1877 at St. James, Westminster, London, England.² He died on 25 November 1887 at age 40 at Hotel Frascati, Le Havre, France.²

Midlothian [S., 1633] on 20 July 1880.¹ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Ramsay of Glenmark, co. Forfar [U.K., 1875] on 20 July 1880.¹ He succeeded to the title of 14th Lord Ramsay of Dalhousie [S., 1619] on 20 July 1880.¹ He succeeded to the title of 13th Lord Ramsay of Carrington [S., 1633] on 20 July 1880.¹ He was invested as a Knight, Order of the Thistle (K.T.) in 1881.¹ He held the office of Secretary of State for Scotland in 1886.¹ He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1886.¹

     Sir Robert Armstrong-Jones was born on 2 December 1857. He married Margaret Elizabeth Roberts, daughter of Sir Owen Roberts, on 4 November 1893. He died on 30 January 1943 at age 85.

     Lt.-Col. Leonard Charles Rudolph Messel was born on 19 February 1872 at London, England.¹ He married Maud Frances Sambourne on 28 April 1898 at London, England.¹ He died on 4 February 1953 at age 80.¹

     Susan Anne Armstrong-Jones was born on 12 February 1927 at Paddington, London, England.² She was the daughter of Ronald Owen Lloyd Armstrong-Jones and Anne Messel.¹ She married John Eustace Vesey, 6th Viscount de Vesci of Abbey Leix, son of Colonel Hon. Thomas Eustace Vesey and Lady Cecilia Kathleen Browne, on 20 May 1950.¹ She died in May 1986 at age 59 at Westiminster, London, England.^1,2
      Her married name became Vesey. As a result of her marriage, Susan Anne Armstrong-Jones was styled as Viscountess de Vesci of Abbey Leix on 16 August 1958.

     Gwendoline Carol Akhurst Coombe married Ronald Owen Lloyd Armstrong-Jones, son of Sir Robert Armstrong-Jones and Margaret Elizabeth Roberts, on 18 June 1936. She and Ronald Owen Lloyd Armstrong-Jones were divorced in 1959. She died on 4 October 1966, killed in an automobile crash.¹
      Her married name became Armstrong-Jones.

     Jenifer Unite is the daughter of Basil Unite.¹ She married, firstly, Ronald Owen Lloyd Armstrong-Jones, son of Sir Robert Armstrong-Jones and Margaret Elizabeth Roberts, on 11 February 1960 at Kensington Registry Office, Kensington, London, England.¹ She married, secondly, John Walter Skelsey, son of John Clifford Skelsey, on 10 June 1969.³
      Her married name became Armstrong-Jones. From 10 June 1969, her married name became Skelsey.³
