     Joan Fenella Cleaver was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Douglas Whyte Cleaver.1 She married David George Crichton, son of Colonel Hon. Sir George Arthur Charles Crichton and Lady Mary Augusta Dawson, on 9 August 1941.1 She died in 1992, killed in a car crash.1
     Joan Fenella Cleaver also went by the nick-name of Susie.1 From 9 August 1941, her married name became Crichton.1
