John Vereker was the son of Connel Vereker and Mary Godsell.2 He married Margaret Jessop, daughter of Samuel Jessop, in 1739.3 He died in 1783 at Limerick, County Limerick, Ireland.1

Charles Vereker, 2nd Viscount Gort was born in 1768.1 He was the son of Thomas Vereker and Juliana Smyth.2 He married, firstly, Jane Westropp, daughter of Ralph Westropp and Mary Johnson, on 7 November 1789.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Palliser, daughter of John Palliser, on 5 March 1810.1 He died on 11 November 1842.1
