     Osyth Vere Napier Leeston was the daughter of Cyril Napier Leeston.2 She married Edward Francis North, 9th Earl of Guilford, son of Francis George North, Lord North and Joan Louise Burrell, on 15 September 1956.1 She died in 1992.1
     Osyth Vere Napier Leeston usually went by her middle name of Vere.1 She was invested as a Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.).1 As a result of her marriage, Osyth Vere Napier Leeston was styled as Countess of Guilford on 15 September 1956. From 15 September 1956, her married name became North.
