     P/O Patrick Claude Hannay was the son of Claude Patrick Hannay.2 He married Aline Thorn Pease, daughter of Sir Richard Arthur Pease, 2nd Bt. and Jeannette Thorn Kissel, on 1 May 1940.1 He died on 24 May 1940, killed in action.1
     P/O Patrick Claude Hannay gained the rank of Pilot Officer in the service of the Auxiliary Air Force.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
